So, when
four of my CDs were stolen from me, was my legal license to play MP3s ripped from them stolen as well? That's sort of a confusing area for me. The discs were the physical manifestation and proof of that license. Now I have nothing to show for them other than a
DeepDiscount.com receipt email if I ever, Heaven forbid, had to prove that I really do buy an asston of CDs and DVDs. Clearly if I voluntarily gave up my license by giving away or selling the CD I would be obligated to delete my digital copies. Am I obligated to do so even if it's involuntary?
