I finally saw Napoleon Dynamite tonight. My brother gave it to me for Christmas (or, rather, that holiday that he and I tend to celebrate that takes place about a week or two after Christmas). There were some pretty funny parts, but I don't quite know why it's as popular as it seems to be. It's not bad, but it's not something I want to see again anytime soon.

I like the acting and the realistic characters.

I like the characters and acting. I think I accidentally entered this already because an AIM window popped up. If so, I suck.

Yeah, the movie has a lot of great characters. I loved the girl who worked at Glamour Shots. I think I would have liked it better had it been less... annoying. Like, the wedding sequence at the end—that was one of the most hideously annoying things I've ever listened to. It was funny for a few seconds, but then I just wanted to cry. Actually, thinking back on the movie, there are a lot of memorable moments and characters; it seems that the good parts are a lot easier to remember than the bad parts, which seems unusual.
