Cheddar would have been better

A few weeks ago, in a sudden lapse of critical judgment, I purchased a cup of NEW cheddar cheese Ramen noodles. Tonight, I tried said noodles. Not only was the flavor nothing even remotely resembling cheddar, it only had slight hints of artificial cheese flavor. I don't know what it tasted like, but cheese was not it. Worse, it's already established that I have extraordinarily low standards for cheese, my favorite cheeses being White American, American, and Colby-Jack, and yet this product managed to fail on every level on which I can judge it. Were it not for my aversion of throwing things away (thanks, Mom), I would have tossed it out immediately, but like the soldier I am, I uncomfortably downed each and every putrid, lumpy, depressing forkful.
