Mueller by day

Mueller by night

Mueller Tower on the UNL campus, by day and by night. The daytime picture was taken on a cloudy spring day, and the nighttime picture was taken on a misty fall night.

Goddamn the second picture is haunting. Don't think I'll ever think of the sculpture in the same way.

There's a nearly identical sculpture near Millenium Park in Chicago.

Thanks! I was walking home from Ferguson, saw that, and had to run back with my camera to get a shot of it before the mist dissipated.

No flash. It was taken December 3, 2001, with an eight-second exposure. It wasn't quite that bright in person.
