Giving me Fitts

Annoying: clicking in the upper-left corner of the screen doesn't close a window in Arabic Windows. You have to click one pixel to the right.

Picture of Arabic Windows

(Hey, Blogger supports PNGs now. Yay.)

That is an awesome subject.

So, seriously, you didn't flip that image? All the controls are on the left? Is it that way in all versions of Windows for right-to-left languages (e.g. Hebrew Windows)?

eh, I just use my own webserver and hardlink to the images...

Yeah, that's actually how it looks in Hebrew and Arabic Windows, both of which I used today. It's incredibly hard to use once you're used to things being on one side of the screen. The controls are flipped, and so is generally the light source (upper-right instead of upper-left), which is also surprisingly distracting. If that screenshot were flipped, the scrollbar would have had a slightly different light source.
